In answer to your question, about whether I would recommend this movie to someone with body dysmorphic disorder, I would say no, because there is actually something abnormal with CD's physical appearance and he has to come to grips with that. He is not delusional in his belief that he has bizarre features, so I would no more recommend this film for a client with BDD than I would recommend someone with a jealous delusion watch Indecent Proposal.
