Pepa's friend Candela catches herself after trying to jump from the roof of Pepa's apartment.
Pepa: "You could have killed yourself."
Candela: "That was the idea."
Pepa tells her ex-lover's son Carlos, "Bring me my tranquilizers from the kitchen."
Candela and Pepa each swallow some tranquilizers. (0:38)
Marisa drinks gazpacho with pills dissolved in it. (0:41)
Pepa finds Marisa unconscious.
Pepa: "She got depressed and had some gazpacho."
"It was spiked with barbiturates."
Carlos: "What kind of barbiturates?"
Pepa: "Morphidal."
Carlos: "Were you trying to kill yourself too?" (0:43)
Pepa talks to her plants as she waters them: "You're depressed like me." (0:55)
Candela tells Carlos, "Carlos I'm sorry I teased you about your stuttering." (0:55)
Carlos tells Pepa, referring to his mother Lucia, "She's mentally ill."
"and was placed in a mental institution."
Pepa tells Carlos, "What an insane story." (0:57)
Pepa tells Ana Lucia is "Fresh out of the mental ward." (1:17)
